Hey, I’m Kelly!

It’s so great to meet you! My name is Kelly Black (she/her) and I am a settler from Greek, Scottish, and Irish lineages. I am queer, neurodivergent, creative, intelligent, and kind. Community, authenticity, and intentionality are really important to me, and I bring those values into my personal and professional relationships.

I currently live and work on the traditional and unceded territory of the Lekwungen People, and the Songhees, Esquimalt, and W̱SÁNEĆ First Nations, colonially known as Victoria, BC.

I understand that capitalism and colonialism are not sustainable systems and I am trying to do things differently. I am a student and accomplice to the decolonial movement, and strive to show up from a place of integrity with reverence for the earth and one another. Some of my biggest teachers on this journey are Dra. Rosales Meza, Toi Smith, Dr. Frantonia Pollins, bell hooks, Angela Davis, Frantz Fanon, and many other incredible people.

When I’m not at my computer, I enjoy catching up with friends and family, spending time outside, conspiring with nature, going for swims, trying new recipes, and diving in to my next hyperfixation (currently, its playing softball).

My Approach

I strive to approach my work relationships and projects in way that honours quality, transparency, and collaboration. My goal is to help you with the work tasks and life tasks that can often become overwhelming or time-consuming so you can have more space for what brings you joy.

By offering a “choose your own adventure” service menu, we can work together to create a custom service agreement that honours your budget and flows with the needs of your business. I love this work and if admin is not your cup of tea, you are in the right place!
